Hey gorgeous girlies / MiMo Wig Sisters!

So I am so pleased to actually get this online at last! MiMo has a small "UK WIGBANK" for those of you out there who are struggling with hairloss, and who are struggling financially to find a wig that is within your price range. 
These beautiful wigs are available at a cost of £20 (of which 100% of the funds will go to alopecia UK charity) + the cost of postage.

MiMo has chosen to support the work of the national charity Alopecia UK with the proceeds of Wig Bank sales. MiMo is proud to support Alopecia UK’s work to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia through its aims of Support, Awareness & Research.

Alopecia UK were pivotal in helping me, Michelle, come to acceptance of my hair loss and with MiMo up and running, I am keen to give back.

WHERE DO THESE WIGS COME FROM?

.

Some wigs have been donated by fellow MiMo Wig Sisters, as they don't wear...... or they have decided to pass on and just share the love with others......... Some of these have been kindly gifted directly from Manufacturers. 
If a wig is a preloved, it will be washed and rejuvinated so that it is once again like new. 
.
Stock Levels will vary with the wig bank items due to the fact that it is unpredictable what stock will be available and when........ 
.
These wigs are specifically for those with diagnosed medical hair loss, and so they do require that you complete the VAT RELIEF / VAT EXEMPTION form at checkout.
.
Should this not be done......or should the wig bank be abused, MiMo has the right to refuse further service to those in breach of this policy.

WHY A WIG BANK?

When I first lost my hair, i was so devastated. I found it so tough to look in a mirror, and i just felt LOST! i felt i had lost my identity, and i was not in a financial position to even afford a wig.
.
I benefited from the services of a lovely local wig bank, and my dad covered the cost of my first preloved wigs.
Hair Loss can be difficult, and the financial burden is not easy.
.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • If a cap description does not state that there is a monofilament top to the wig - this means that the wig will have permatease on the top area. Permatease is a lot of short hair added to create volume. This is not a defect, and can look almost like multiple little short spikey hair. This is the reason that the wigs are cheaper.... they are not hand made on top but machine made.
  • If you want a NATURAL TOP / parting appearance please order a wig with a monofilament top or parting. We can always advise BEFORE purchase. Unless otherwise stated, it is to be expected that any cap that is not a monofilament top will have permatease.
  • Please also note that there may me slight variation in colour with hand made wigs, and that on occasion colour plavcement may be slightly variable.
