RETURNS
Our Returns Policy forms part of, and must be read in conjunction with, our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to change this Returns Policy at any time.
For hygiene purposes and health protection: wigs, toppers, hairpieces, headwear, brushes & combs can not be accepted as returns to MiMo Wigs Ltd, unless due to faulty manufacturing, in keeping with your statutory rights.
The outer package sent is considered to be the "hygeine seal", and once delivered we can not accept this item back due to health protection measures.
WE CAN NOT LEND ANY WIGS OR TOPPERS FOR THE SAME REASON. UNFORTUNATELY, IT IS NOT IN KEEPING WITH HYGEINE LEGISLATION.
Resell of a returned item poses a risk of cross infection from scalp / hair between persons. Wigs, toppers, headwear are ineligible for return in keeping with UK Law regarding HEALTH PROTECTION and HYGEINE.

DUE TO MEDICAL GRADE WIG PURPOSE BEING FOR PATIENTS WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS (eg. following chemotherapy) THERE IS A SEVERE RISK TO HEALTH WITH THE RESALE OF ANY WIG OR HAIR PIECE / MEDICAL GRADE HEADWEAR. MEDICAL GRADE WIGS SOLD ARE THEREFORE INELIGIBLE FOR REFUND / RETURN
If an item is deemed to be faultily manufactured, or flawed - the item will be refunded in keeping with your statutory rights. Please note that dislike of a colour or misinterpretation by customer is not accepted as a fault. If unsure of colour appearance - please contact prior to purchase as stated on site.
Please note: All wigs and hairpieces are quality control checked prior to dispatch from the manufacturer.
RESELL & RETURN OF ANY MEDICAL GRADE WIG / HEADWEAR OR HAIRPIECE IS FORBIDDEN AS IT IS IN DIRECT BREACH OF HYGEINE LAW IN THE UK AND POSES A DIRECT RISK TO CLIENTS.
ALL PURCHASES MUST BE CHECKED BY YOU (THE BUYER) WITHIN 48 HOURS. IF YOU FEEL YOUR ITEM IS FAULTY OR ANY IS INCORRECT, YOU MUST INFORM US WITHIN 48 HOURS of receipt of your item. It is the responsibility of you, the buyer, to ensure that you inform us within THIS TIME PERIORD. YOU MUST CONTACT BY EMAIL ON ORDERS@MIMOWIGS.COM
As your sales contract is with MiMo Wigs Ltd and not the manufacturer, please note that our strict no return policy is for every purchase.
Please note that wig and topper colours can appear different from real life to the computer monitor and swatch. Please be aware that this is for every brand and colour. If you wish to check the shade in advance, please order the appropriate colour ring from our site as we can not be held liable for any colour that is not liked when ordered. Hygiene legislation still applies and rules can not be changed. Please also note that colour on human hair will always appear warmer than it synthetic counterpart due to the way the differing fibres accept the same colour dye. This is not faulty.
Please note that all wigs and hair pieces have at least two quality control checks prior to dispatch. All hairpieces are new and unworn and supplied from MiMo Wigs Ltd directly received from the Manufacturer. If you feel your item has a manufacture error at the time of receipt, you must notify us by email within 48 hours of receipt of goods.
If you damage your item by improper wear (ie tearing of lace front) or by using incorrect care products which then results in shedding of wig or topper hair, this is not a manufacture issue. We will not replace items damaged by mishandling of product.
Wigs and Toppers are delicate items, and you must care for these as per manufacturer guidance. You must not use inappropriate brushes or combs or care products.
Most manufacturers will advise synthetic wigs to have a lifespan of approximately 6 weeks using correct care. Longer wigs will have a shorter life, and synthetic wigs are prone to static damage. Human Hair wigs have a general lifespan of 6 months of daily wear when cared for properly and with correct products as per manufacturer guidance. We never advise using products that are not recommended by your wig manufacturer. Every MiMo Wigs Ltd purchase is sent with some basic advice on wig care, but please see our site guides for further detailed information.
As per distance selling regulations, and online sales regulations in the UK, you have the right to cancel your purchase within the 14 day period from purchase - excluding customised / personalised items. Once you have your item received, it is non returnable / unable to be cancelled due to hygiene explanation above. PLEASE NOTE: Cancellations NEVER apply to custom made products.
When the product is received (even if before the 14 day period) it becomes non-refundable in accordance with UK law. As soon as the package is opened - the outer wrap is considered a seal, when opened the the seal is broken, and the item is not fit for return. These are terms and conditions that can not be changed.
The internal wig can not be wrapped as "sweating" and excess moisture can damage the wig cap and integrity therefore no inner bagging will be sealed airtight around the wig. This is why packaging as exists is considered to be the hygiene seal. When the wig is signed for it is considered to have the box opened as we can not prove a box to have been opened or not.... signing for and accepting delivery means the item is not eligible for return.
You can rest assured that any purchases made via MiMo Wigs Ltd are brand new hair products, and will have never been worn by anyone else for your safety.

The CONSUMER CONTRACTS ACT
Right To Cancel - Part 3, Section 28, Paragraph 3 states:
"(3) The rights conferred by this Part cease to be available in the following circumstances—
***(a)in the case of a contract for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery"

*** Wigs and hair pieces can not be sealed in plastic packaging due to the compromise of integrity of product. The outer packaging of delivery is therefore considered to be hygeine seal.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUND
Please note that you have a 14-day cooling-off cancellation period from the day you place your order for the majority of purchases. This right DOES NOT EVER apply to custom made products / custom orders / custom sized products or products for which you have made an alteration request.
This "cooling off period" means that you have the right to cancel your order within the 14 day time period from placing order. If your item is preorder / backorder - we will contact you as soon as we are notified by the manufacturer and you will have the option of cancelling / exchange or refund. PLEASE NOTE that if the item has already shipped and is covered under health protection / hygiene law - you are not eligible for refund as per above refund and return.
Please note that at present, the inventory we show for Belle Tress, Estetica Designs, Jon Renau, Raquel Welch, Gabor, Hairdo, HIM by Hairuwear and Wig Pro by Wig USA is updated daily and as advised by manufacturer. We are working with our suppliers for this live "up to date" stock level on other brands as well.
All refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Please note that this can take up to 14 working days for accounts to process your refund request.
DISCOUNT REFUND
If you have ordered a promotional / discount item and the discount has not automatically applied to your purchase, we will apply the discount for you manually - please note it is your duty to inform us if you feel this is the case.
However, We will not apply in retrospect once the item has shipped.
CURRENCY
Please also note that all cancellation / refunds are made in the currency you initially used at checkout. Unless you selected to pay in any other currency, you will be charged in GBP (British Pound Sterling). Please note that MiMo Wigs has no control over the variations in exchange rate offered and this will naturally fluctuate with the economy.
