For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the Act) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (the GDPR), the data controller is MiMo Wigs Ltd (company no. SC578807). The registered office is located at 125 Dumbuck Crescent, Dumbarton, G82 1EH (“Company/we/us”).

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing questions in relation to this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or you would like to make a request to exercise any of your legal rights, please contact the DPO via info@mimowigs.com. 

At MiMo Wigs, we are committed to protecting your privacy at all times. This Privacy Policy sets out the privacy practices of the Company. Please take the time to review this Privacy Policy carefully. The policy outlines how your personal information will be processed when you use the MiMo Wigs website (the "Site") and our services. 

At MiMo, we want to offer you the best possible internet experience; consequently. Therefore, additional functions, features, products or services are incorporated into the site intermittently. To protect your information and ensure you are fully informed of how your data is utilised, we may make periodic changes to this Privacy Policy.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We only share your Personal Information with third parties to process your Personal Information, as described above. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a court order/subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. If you complete a VAT relief form, please note that this is stored for legal requirements, and may be passed to an HMRC officer for the purposes of verification of your zero rated purchase.

PHOTO UPLOADS

Customer Photo Uploads to site indicate your agreement for MiMo Wigs Ltd to display on the website. A photo upload does not guarantee that we will display on site, but you can rest assured that photos will never be shown outwith our website and only with your consent will we display your photograph on site.

Your photo upload is your direct consent for MiMo Wigs Ltd to use the photo on site in any way we deem suitable. Your agreement at the time of upload is your permission for us to display your photograph on site. We will never share these photos without your consent.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Any legal requirement of maintenance of records will be held, for example the retention of documentation pertaining to UK VAT Relief on eligible goods for the usage of HMRC as required by law.

Please note that if you make a fraudulent chargeback on your purchase, this will be reported to your bank who may follow this with legal action. Your data will only be shared as per legal requirements in order to assist us in the prevention of fraud. 

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATION

It is very important to us that we provide you with the highest level of service. In order to help us do this, from time to time we may contact you using one of the contact methods you have provided, with details of our newsletters, surveys, products and services which we think may be of interest to you, as well as relevant advertising messages - this is only if you have consented to receive marketing contact from us. If at any time you do not wish to receive emails, you can click the 'unsubscribe' link included in the footed of the email you have received. Alternatively, you can mail us to request to be removed from marketing communications. Active customers will continue to receive our mails unless otherwise requested.

We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other third party sites (including, but not limited to: Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter), or for advertisers on our site, even if you access them using links from our Site and we recommend that you check the policy of each site you visit. • We enforce a zero-tolerance Spam policy regarding information transmitted through our network. We may determine in its sole discretion whether any transmissions are considered Spam. Spam includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Bulk unsolicited e-mail, promotional material, or other forms of solicitation sent via the Services, or e-mail that advertises any IP address belonging to Us or any URL (domain) that is hosted by Us.
• The use of web pages set up on ISPs that allow SPAM-ing that directly or indirectly reference customers to domains or IP addresses hosted by Us.
• Forging or misrepresenting message headers, whether in whole or in part, to mask the true origin of the message.
• If we determine that you have posted one or more articles of SPAM, we may cancel your account immediately and take steps to prevent you from using our network at any time thereafter.

CURRENCIES
By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency. Unless you have chosen to pay in another currency, all orders are processed in GBP and if a refund is required at any time, it will be processed in the currency paid. Please ensure if you wish to pay in anything other than GBP that you select this option at the bottom of the page. Please note, Mimo Wigs Ltd has no control over the exchange rate offered at any time.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.
